HCI conceptualized platform that allows active citizens to report civic problems.
Nowadays we can report the collapse of infrastructure to the government via many available channels. However, each department has its own flow of work which can cause the maintenance to be delayed. For example, some might have an application, some have a call center, and others might be able to report via the website. But those methods are not the best, and some are not available right now. Even if we can report the situation to the department, we would have no idea whether those places we are going to report have been reported or not. Many departments also don’t clearly state the protocol on how to correctly report to them. Leading to confusion and struggle of active citizens in reporting the issues to the government.
Design an efficient, trustworthy, and collaborative reporting system for the active citizens, so that the reported issues get solved and the users’ voice get heard.
Because the citizens lose faith in the current complaint system. Is it possible to create a platform that allows the authorities to collaborate with active citizens in solving and prioritizing problems, community that allows citizens to watch out for each other where everyone can create, join, or donate as part of the volunteer campaign.
Yellow, blue, red, peppermint green, orange, millennial pink, and lavender purple are among the colors utilized in this design, which I studied and found to be popular among millennials. These colors reflect the diversity of individuals in various parts of Thailand, as well as the feeling of collaboration and delight that users would have when using the system.
I chose "Inter" as the roman alphabet font and "Notosans Thai" as the Thai language font. When choosing a typeface, I consider the accessibility of the users, ensuring that the font is clean, clear, and easy to read for all users.
The logo is a graphical representation of the term Community of Active Citizens, based on the idea that this platform is a place for people's cooperation. It is depicted as two people conversing with a speech bubble that can read as the letters "COAC."
